Awesome shot. The symmetry and angle of your shot are great and the cloudy background does not deter. You could clone out the small thing top right to make this a spot on shot.

The point of view and composition of this one is great. The leading line and S shape of the track plus the city skyline are good. The light and clouds however weren't on your side on this day. I still like this shot but would also like to see it at a different time.

This photo has some serious potenial in post processing, one of the major differences between taking appealing photos and just your normal run of the mill snapshots is understanding how the audience looks at photos.

I suggest going to google and typing "rule of thirds" and seeing what you can find. Centering subjects can sometimes really make them boring and gives the eye no where else to travel.

Best of luck- btw you should get a DSLR at somepoint, you seem to have some talent here.

Well, I just joined a few days ago ... but I am all exited about this and look forward to participate in a challenge, some day. For now, I am sneaking around on this site, seeing how things work, and when I think I have something to contribute with, I'll go for it!

At first I thought I missed something in the building, via the crop, but with my optics this is as wide as I can go, more or less. Now, I understand you meant a challenge here on the board, in architecture ...

Wow! How striking!!! You just missed an architecture challenge that I bet this would have done very well in! I love its abstract look (and I don't even normally care that much for abstract), but it works so well here!!
