I guess I like red, white and transparent. Isn't it valentine's day soon as well? Guess you'll have this set out and ready.

There's are little unbalanced parts, a little off center and off angle that makes it a little uncomfortable, nothing too drastic but I guess when I look at a picture that is composed with such symmetry, imperfections are easily noticeable and even more unsettling than chaotic pieces where things are just thrown around loudly. It's like listening to a fly buzz around your ear when you're trying to sleep compared to a fly buzzig at a rock concert, you know?

This is the best depth of field in your three kitty shots so far. I very much like having almost the entire face in focus. Combine this DOF with the pose from "Depressed?" and I think you'll break 6.0. Also think about the lighting. Her pupils are the widest here out of the three shots, and they look like vast pools you could fall into. It might also be interesting to get her looking into a bright light so you get the classic cat eye slit.

Unfortunately, outside of pet challenges, I think many people just don't care for this kind of shot.

Working my way through your three kitty shots. In this one, the DOF is definitely better, but still misses the image-left eye by a bit. I do like the pose. :)

The razor thin DOF is just a little bit shy of the eyes. Good initial take on the subject, though.

I am surprised this didn't do better in the challenge, as I like the leading line here..... U like to see just a litle bit more depth of color as it appears to be a little to pale. Great composition.....
