A run through Neat Image might have helped here, as I can see lots of digital noise on my monitor. Nice job not blowing out the moon, though. Good luck in the challenge.

This was a really good idea. The only thing I can add to all the comments made during the challenge, is that I'd like to see how it would look with the position of two candies in the front reversed. I think that might balance the composition more, and give it a little more punch.

I think I understand what you were doing with this composition -- the nice tree, wall, and post on the left give it the vertical lines for the portrait orientation. It looks to me like you did a good job with the dodge and burn. Short of reshooting the picture from a position closer to the river, to give that a more vertical orientation, I don't know what you could do to improve this. The way it is, I feel frustrated that I can't see past the tree to where the river is going.

I do like the composition of this, with the pathway seeming to lead away, possibly into a meadow. I like the house in the background - adds to the "leading away" concept. But yes, it does seem too light on this monitor. I'd like to see it redone if you get a chance.

great shot but a little grainy, adjusting the curves inn photoshop may have helped with fefinition, if you have PS. I love the way the moon and cloud adds to subject

I think you have some bowing from a really wide angle lense, but other than that it is very nice.
