Watching Me Watching Youby mistComment by klstover: Maybe could have used some contrast/level adjustment, and noise reduction. But the composition is excellent and I really love the bird's "expression" as he is looking at the camera. |

Flamingosby mistComment by sherpet: I wish I knew how to do this, re the way you procedssed it, as I like this effect, especially the reflections. This is really a lovely image, and even good enough for the "Free Study" challenge. My only suggestion is to clone out the line of wire, one can see accross the trees at the back. Subjectlessby mistComment by charliebaker: a couple of crits:
1) blurry leaves in foreground: either move to different angle to remove them or shoot with dif DOF;
2) white wash overexposure across photo takes away from natural colors;
3) composition with tree in upper foreground distracts from interesting castle in background
Otherwise, a lovely scene for this challenge |

Zen outtakeby mistComment by bucket: nice peaceful image...I am not quite sure what to look at though..the plants in the foreground essentially are distracting me from the waterfall...I love playing around with stuff like this, and usually would say the same about my own shots when doing so...the only thing that helps me is taking the time to really look at it until I see something that BECOMES my subject, my focus...(man this is a wandering comment, hope you don't mind)...ie zoom in on the falls, or frame them but keep them slightly off center...ok you must have read enough.... |
