Thanks for the comment. SKin tones are hard for me. I did this with all natural light from a window. I wish I had some lights. Maybe one day.

Great expression! I love the tilt of her head. A good simple background as well. I like this. I agree with the previous comment about the 'cool' feel to this though. Maybe push some colours in photoshop?

Much better skin exposure on this one. A little light on the right hand side to even it up and remove that harsh black shadow would've made this great.

The DOF is great in this, the expression is wonderful as well. Would've liked to see the subject a little off center though. Again, slightly washed out colours due to overexposure on the skin.

Your composition is great, really leads the eye. Two small gripes, over exposure on the arms and a shallower depth of field to eliminate the leaves in the background. Otherwise, nice.

It might be that ISO 400 is a bit grainy on your camera, but there is something a big rough about this photo. I think some softening would fix it right up. Another tiny thing that bothered me was the coolness. While blue seems to be "the theme" of this photo, a bit more warmth might give her a softer more youthful glow.

The composure is amazing, however, and I think her eyes come through great. A bit more post processing could highlight her eye color better, but even without that this is a fantastic portrait. I hope some day I'll be able to compose people in my photos this well.

I just changed the photo out. I'm new here and someone emailed and said I should not enter challenges with photos and share them in my portfolio at the same time. Said it wasn't against the rules, but kind of an unspoken rule. So thanks for the tip. I think I like this one better anyway now that I look at it.
