The crop here has me wanting more. The eye is nice and sharp, so perhaps a bit more focus (with the composition) of the eye would help this. More off the right and bottom?

The compisition is fine. The flower just seems like it is in really bright sun light which is very harsh and takes way from the beauty of the subject.
