michipicoten.jpgby bauerfan71Comment by roz: it does look cold and dreary .. great perspective going on ..
learning post processing is often just a matter of trial and error and spending A LOT of time at it .. suggestions from ppl who'v been there are always a good way to speed up the learning process ..
if you were at the very beginning of learning i'd suggest that you play around with the adjustment layers in your layers palette .. i'm sure other ppl will have other suggestions .. its a very individual thing of course . have fun .. if it snows for a long time you'll just get better and better . :) |

Destiny.jpgby bauerfan71Comment by Strikeslip: I don't like the blur effect in post processing here. Focus is good and the subject is really cute. Light permitting, I would suggest pushing your ISO up so you don't have to use your flash. Neat Image or Noise Ninja the noise out in post. Though I know, kids move fast, she looks pretty cooperative.
She's a great model, keep on shooting! |

Destiny.jpgby bauerfan71Comment by Jib: heres a hint...had you shot that in RAW... all you would ahve to do is open it up in photo professional the software that came with yor camerea... and do a click white balance by clicking the option in the pallete on the right of the screen and clicking the dropper and clicking her tooth... it should generally set things straight for the average photographer... |

Destiny.jpgby bauerfan71Comment by Monique64: Interesting shot although I think it is a little too yellow for my taste. The eyes and some of the facial features could be a little clearer but the overall effect is very nice and soft and light. |
