The colors look better to me here. You might consider dodging her eye a little - so that it's more visible? Or you could try a bump with curves or hightlight/shadows. Is she still a kitten?

Definately a cute dog! What great eyes. I think a tighter crop, eliminating some of the deck/fence railing may really focus the image on the pups great eyes

Nice DOF here, I like how I can see the strands of grass, and the bokeh in the background is great! I agree the red is a bit distracting, but maybe lightening it a bit so it looks like the other lighter red circles would be fine. Those aren't distracting and do add interest. I like how she is looking off into the distance. Beautiful dog.
