So Many Tools for Such a Little Thing, Dirtby noranekoComment by JuliBoc: Well I like the composition, and I think it is a valid entry for Dirt. I've seen enough dirt to fill in the blanks, and these tools create a lot of blanks. The broom for ________ (floor dirt and sand), The scrub brush for _________ (dirty fur or walls), the forks for _________ (animal dirt), the squeegees for _________ (dirty water and/or windows). Actually you got more dirt into your shot that anyone else in the challenge.
As I said in my earlier comment, I like the color. The red wall with the red broom , and the touch of red on the squeegee contribute a lot to the composition. If it were my shot, I think I might take out the red on the fork handle. |

So Many Tools for Such a Little Thing, Dirtby noranekoComment by bmartuch: I really thought this would have done a little better. I gave it a 6. I realize there is no actual dirt in this shot but they are impliments of dirt. Since you had advanced editing, I wonder if this would have looked better in B&W or sepia. Just a thought. |
