Nice capture. Lighting is nice on the white/golden lab/retriever. A difficult shot with the color range of the two dogs, the black one doesn't have as much detail, but could just be focal area/sharpness. Perhaps some tweaking in pp to try to get the dogs to 'pop' a little more, might make this even better in my opinion.

Nice capture and focal area. Perhaps a slightly finer crop on either side make this even better in my opinion. Difficult, but 'even sharper' also give this even more of an edge - not easy though.

I imagine one has to watch ones bottom when it rains there - flash floods might take your tent for a ride. Radical geological terrain.

Well, I learned a lot with this one. I knew that the light on his arm was to bright; but I thought that the interesting cultural aspects of the shot, and the fact that it was real (as opposed to studio) largely made up for that. (I suppose I have a bias towards photographing what exists in reality rather than creating something for a photo. We'll see if I maintain that opinion as I (hopefully) improve.) But this is not sour grapes. I have learned a valuable lesson regarding what people like and what makes (or breaks) a photo.
