Guitar Loverby OmanOtterComment by VitaminB: Just read your thread about needing some prayers, and was browsing your portfolio when I stumbled across this shot. This is an incredible photo because of how geniune it is. Best of luck with everything, and hope to see you posting again soon. |

On the Runby OmanOtterComment by JulietNN: HI from the CC Club,
How utterly amazing to be able to see these magnificent animals in the wild, let alone take a shot of them. Gorgeous.
This really is an amazing shot, but as you know the clarity is not there. There is a lot of dust in the air, probably from the truck you where in. There are several ways to remedy this problem in post processing. Once you have the clarity cleaned up, some dodge and burn on their stripes would make them pop right out.
I have PM'd you

On the Runby OmanOtterComment by andrewt: the lack of clarity impacts this shot. IMO you did well give n the lighting conditions and the movement of the zebras. (no vote) |

Do Ya' Think I'm Sexy?by OmanOtterComment by Alicia: This is a riot - love it! Your POV is great, too. Very creative.
Based on your own comment down there - if I may suggest - I think some selective lightening of the guy in the back would have helped. Your background is brighter than your subjects and that could have affected the score.
For inside shots like that, I use this very fast Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II - best (small) investment ever. I'm also not fond of flash and avoid it like the plague. |
