Taken by Surpriseby dacrazyrnComment by Gordon: CC: Great use wide angle techniques getting really close to the animal, to good effect. The extremely over exposed sky is also dramatic, turning the bare trees into skeletal hands, grasping at the corpse. Overall a very dramatic and creepy entry and certainly has many aspects of despair.
Technically it does seem a bit oversharpened, particularly in the way the fur 'stands out' and the sepia sky is a bit distracting with the cloud in the upper left. I think this is great and you should keep trying to follow your own ideas, even if maybe not everyone gets it every time. |

Huevos del Salmonby dacrazyrnComment by DennisF: Nice shine on the eggs. Doing a little fishing? Don't I recognize the lattice in the egg from the Leading Lines cahllenge? I think the simple eggs and jar without the shoe whould have been a better composition. |

Huevos del Salmonby dacrazyrnComment by dsidwell: Extremely pleasing colors here--and I'm partially colorblind! I find this a warm comfortable image. I can almost smell the eggs in their context. The light you captured is partially the key here, but you also chose good surroundings. Thanks for having your image appropriately in focus. I hope it does well! 10 |

Gazeboby dacrazyrnComment by GolferDDS: The pattern is interesting. The angle of the shot is good. exposure and sharpness is also good. I'm not sure if this picture satisfies the theme as it is difficult to determine which line to follow to the subject. I think your interpretation is that all lines lead to the opening. I can see your point! |
