Deerby WriteHeartComment by PHOTOKID: Beautiful capture of this fawn, the lighting on the back is a bit harsh but overall the detail is beautiful. Excellent job with the background as well.

phhtttt...A wild, wet, slobbery raspberry!by WriteHeartComment by Frankie_Lv: Hello Writeheart,
The framing here is well done, Nice to see the catch light in the eye a must for any closeup wildlife good job there. The background however is a killer, the white is very distracting & the tree limbs keep drawing me away. The focus seams a wee bit soft ( hand held) I assume.I also see just a bit of a hotspot on the right side of the face just above the nose to the eye. Overall though you did a great job under the conditions put in front of you. |

Climbing to the top!by WriteHeartComment by Melethia: I can't offer any processing ideas because quite frankly I REALLY like it just the way it is. And it's a great shot - great score, too. And you'd have kicked your hubby's butt in fitness with it. :-) (Don't tell him I said that!) |

phhtttt...A wild, wet, slobbery raspberry!by WriteHeartComment by noraneko: Great capture and composition. Think you got hurt a bit by the soft focus and very bright areas in the background (they pull the eyes away from the deer's face). A bit of burning in the back would have boosted this about 5 tenths of a point IMO. |
