Yeah nice start with great tones, I agree with the top petals being slightly to bright and the shadow crossing over the bent petals and under the centre of the flower but you probably needed that angle to bring out the texture of the petals. Good job with it!

I agree with hajeka in that it appears a little light (the top petals and to the right a little). However, I really love that the petals are not perfect and the ones on the left are smaller and curved. Makes for a very interesting photo. Also, the darker petals have a very nice texture to them and create more depth than the lighter ones. Very nice.
