Castle Hill for Editingby CapeSailComment by JunieMoon: I can see this as a black and white right from the image, without even looking at the black and white. You have chosen perfect conditions to get contrasts in conversion. It needs to be low contrast with few shadows. I find that when I take pictures in color, the best ones to convert are ones just like this. |

Day 1 - They call me Rustyby CapeSailComment by littlegett: That is a nice lookin tractor. Love the classics. What I don't care for, is the angle. I am thinking something a bit more to the side, may give the tractor more personality, as well as a bit more separation from the background. Overall its a fun image. |

The point of focus is perfect. What I like most is the unique composition and the backlighting glow.
Always a pleasure to see a different viewpoint on subjects that we've seen before. |

Day 1 - They call me Rustyby CapeSailComment by noraneko: This old tractor is great - it has very interesting shapes and lines. Maybe try some different depths of field here: there's a lot going on in this shot, and it would be interesting to see with different focal lengths. |

Day 2 - Castle Hill Lighthouseby CapeSailComment by Alicia: The lighthouse is fantastic - very good perspective. The sky was probably too light, yes? I don't know how to remedy that and run into the same problem myself. Maybe someone else has a wise idea... |
