Cool photo. Think she'll start? I need to get the field ready. |

Very nice choice of subject, good composition, only a little bit overexposed. |

Wow. I love this. I love old cars and buildings and I especially love them in B/W. There just seems to so much more feeling. |

That is a nice lookin tractor. Love the classics. What I don't care for, is the angle. I am thinking something a bit more to the side, may give the tractor more personality, as well as a bit more separation from the background. Overall its a fun image. |

This old tractor is great - it has very interesting shapes and lines. Maybe try some different depths of field here: there's a lot going on in this shot, and it would be interesting to see with different focal lengths. |

keep in mind that i am probably way into contrasts. I would like to see more contrast on the tractor to help it stand out even more from the ground and the background. Great subject to take a picture of! |

Subject shows nice contrasts in the shadows and in the overall structure of the tractor. Background sky seemed a bit too blown out for my tastes. Perhaps maintaining the entire white appearance by cloning out the background trees would give the tractor an even more defined contrast. |

Super subject, could see it as a serious. Yep agree with the blowouts - shame really. But who hasn't forgotten to change their camera settings - SMILE! |

Oh, I loooove photos of rusty old tractors. They stir up feelings of simpler days and times for some reason.
My only suggestion, which as you already mentioned, would be to take it at a lower ISO. Not because of the grain, because it doesn't look too grainy to me, but to allow less light in, so you could maybe get a better sky. But I really love it just like it is too!

lovely subject for b&w! Fits really nicely.
I see that the sky kind of got a bit blown out there, but it really does make the tractor stand out without the distraction of branches etc. to distract the eye. This is where we'd get "creamed" in a regular challenge. There is a certain look to photos that are judged as top ranking and these kinds of blow outs would have taken criticsm. However, I think it works well in this case! |

Nice detail in the tractor and grass. I get a feeling that the light was too harsh when you took this photo. |

Cool shot. The machine stands out well against the weedy background - great job. |

Reminds me of growing up. Dad always had old equipment for playing on. Nice find. Makes me think of good things. |
