The bokeh technique is good, would like to have seen it stronger out of focus to enhance the subject.

Hmm, First ever entry and I'm a bit confused. I was very careful not to spot edit the photo but looking at some of the entries (e.g. selective black and white) it seems like I could have spent some time bringing out detail in the leaves and adding contrast to the petals. Ah well, seeing the quality of photos above mine I also realise I have a lot to learn :-)

Nice, subtle colors. The difference between the background and lighter parts of the flowers is sometimes difficult to see (on my monitor); a light aimed at the background or more distance between flowers and background might work better.
