i like this shot. the contrast is good and there are a lot of little curves to it once you really look at it. it's very detailed and intricate. however, something is lacking in the overall composition. i think the positioning could be better (too centered) and maybe a wider angle would have allowed things to come together a little more. this might be a little too close up to capture the full effect. good shot, though.

The monochrome makes for a good industrial effect, but the bottom part of the sprockets are very dark and a bit indistinct.
