Two Second Red Lightby pardsbaneComment by pardsbane: Sorry, I guess I mis-interpreted the rules. I didn't think "Create an image where your choice of shutter speed leads to the main impact. Choose fast shutter speeds to freeze motion or slow ones to capture motion blur." Meant that slow shutter speeds could only be used to capture motion blur. I was focusing on the first sentence, which I think this picture satisfies, since it wouldn't be possible to get the same impact at any other shutter speed or time of day.
It was shot in Arlington, Massachusetts, so yes, its in New England. |

Two Second Red Lightby pardsbaneComment by Car54: Was this shot somewhere in New England?--the architecture looks very familiar--anyway, it has good potential but cannot see any shutter action and it's a little blurred. I'd probably crop a little closer as well. |

Two Second Red Lightby pardsbaneComment by Jammur: I would guess from the title you used a 2 second exposure for this picture, but the object of the challenge was to express motion through contorl of shutter speed, and I just don't see any in your entry. |

Forgotten Prideby pardsbaneComment by Elaine: I would like this better if the background was either all shakes or all black. The window is also a little distracting. |

Rising Sunsetby pardsbaneComment by jellyoooo: Awesome shot.. but now you can make it amazing.. what i think is:
Shadow/highlights - adjust + the shadows...just a little bit.
contrast - add some more.. try selecting the sky and add to them contrast.. it will make it much more dramatic
pfilters - you made it just right. |

Rising Sunsetby pardsbaneComment by Jutilda: What a truly beautiful reflection. I don't see the perspective as much from the ground up, but it is still a stellar capture. Lovely coloration and clarity. 7 |
