Well the "rule" is to take care when shooting against the sun to either have it dark enough to make it seem intentional and have a silhouette or use some sort of fill lighting. It´s great to break these rules of course but with this shot I feel it would have come out better if you had taken it at a time of day the sun was at least to your side but preferrably behind you.

Overexposed in the center and too dark round the outside. Contre-Joure? Seems more centered then anchored on one of the four intersections.

The softness gives this a dreamy feel but the lack of detail hurts this image, for me. I just wish I could see more.

shots directly into the sun are very difficult to pull off and this was not very effective - in addition the image seems very blurry - 1

I do not think this meets the challenge. The subject is dead center rather than on one of the intersecting "power points".
