Spare Parts?by kavamamaComment by Imagineer: The idea is good (the second one I've seen though) but the quality of the shot is poor and possibly relies too heavily on the qulaity of your printed pieces. Composition could have been more interesting. |

Spare Parts?by kavamamaComment by miller: There's a lot of pixellation here - not sure if it's the camera, the crop, the editing or what, but it takes away from the photo. |

Spare Parts?by kavamamaComment by shutterfly: Interesting idea, i think the tiles should be in a way where i can make out your face, it just looks too scrambled, i love the idea. |

Spare Parts?by kavamamaComment by zeuszen: This piece so much more than a photograph. The seemingly incidental composition makes child's play of the inherent complexity. Assymetries appearing in both, the puzzle pieces (i.e. the unusual triangular shapes) and in the background, add a welcome dynamic and coherence. Background hue and the considerable range of tonality here are sublte, yet aesthetically exciting. There is a wonderful balance between the various elements of this picture, which so often indicates an integrated and apt approach on part of the author. Not a baroque or self-conscious approach to the subject!
I consistenly reserve 10's for pieces I'd like to see alongside the 'classic greats'. This is one of them. It does, in my book, add interest to the word. > 10
