Wedding C & A (28)by Sam94720Comment by Bear_Music: Extraordinarily strange the way the shadow of the fern falls precisely into her armpit, making her look surgically altered. Mildly strange, the half hidden, giant head behind her face. Wonderful the genuine heartfelt expression and emotion of the image :-)

Professor P & Nespresso (3)by Sam94720Comment by pineapple: Nice series of photos. I'm sure your subject was happy with the result. Subject is relaxed and enjoying the experience. I like this one more than some of the others because the light side is more gently balanced to the shady side. Also, in this photo, subject is not squinting so much. She told him he'd regret itby Sam94720Comment by Tlemetry: Everyone is going to take a different interpretation on this kind of shot due to their own experiences. I kinda see this one as the mistress who's man wouldn't leave his wife. So the story is up to the viewer to tell. Thats ok.
I agree the hammer is a bit puny for the job. A sledge would have been a lot better. or the front end of another car... Everything else in the image setup is great. Congrats on a great placement!

She told him he'd regret itby Sam94720Comment by manish: lol, this looks like a complete story in one frame. So full of drama, revenge, glamour and violence. great setup and a wonderful justice to the theme. 10 |

She told him he'd regret itby Sam94720Comment by Trinch: A story indeed. Somehow, I think the roles are reversed here however. I would imagine the guy walking down the street with a girl in a low cut shirt and knee high boots (ie, the fling) and the more conservatively sundress clad wife sitting on his smashed car with a hammer. Then again, I may be thinking of an entirely different story. But that aside, the composition and lighting are both very good. The puff of smoke is just icing on the cake. |
