Americanaby VeioletsComment by ErikV: Like the corner with the bench, flag and window. Agree with previous suggestion of cropping a bit off the left, as this will emphasize the good corner better. |

Farm Road on a Snowy Dayby VeioletsComment by jaysonmc: Actually, this is quite lovely. I really like scenes like this. The falling snow makes things so quite. Anytime to can equate a photo to a "sound/noise" it really adds another dimension. Good work. |

Pretty Streamby VeioletsComment by Melethia: I'm not sure about the sides either - I'm not that familiar with the camera. But you are allowed to crop! You are allowed to edit as well - this is all for learning and there are no DQs. I like the starkness of the birches against the dark stream. |

Americanaby VeioletsComment by Melethia: Kind of sweet and kind of sad at the same time. The board looks to be used to cross the porch which apparently gets wet when it rains. Or maybe they're doing renovation work? If you wanted to, you could crop a bit off the left side, closer to the top support on the house - see if you like it better that way. |

Americanaby VeioletsComment by RedDotCom: I was wondering why the flag's blue field looked that way and then I read your comments.... OOoohh!
I love the tones! Great job! Was this shot in B&W? |

Pretty Streamby VeioletsComment by RedDotCom: I'm not much for the snow (too hot) but I like the tone and contrast. The sides are a bit distracting - wonder why it did that? Thanks! |

Pretty Streamby VeioletsComment by salmiakki: Composition is good, but the snow looks overexposed. Could use a boost in contrast to emphasise the trees a bit more. |

frozen pondby VeioletsComment by tnun: LG, I like the idea of this a lot. (I think it suffers a little from the small size and your grey frame). Snow and light on reeds make this. |

frozen pondby VeioletsComment by ErikV: Like the combination of strong vertical lines with the somewhat softer diagonals. (Not sure grey border is the best for this, perhaps just go with the white.) |

frozen pondby VeioletsComment by Budya: I like the abtract feel and the conposition here. I would have likes to see a bit more contrast. The grey border does not work for me -- maybe a very thin black instead? |
