A lot of noise, appears this was too dark and brightened; focus seems too far into the flower / on the leaf.

Good thing you explained what you meant. I was going to comment that you chose the wrong time looking at how much paper is left on that roll. Terrible time to be caught short.
Ps. I think your shot's too good and wont win the brown. Good composition, nice rule of thirds, good contrast and detail and correct exposure. Little bit of vignetting in the bottom corners.

I don't think you will achieve that dubious honour with this effort. You would need to disregard the 640x480 pixel format, go for something really small & preferably really soft on the focus if in focus at all. This is the 1062nd entry I have come across & it is not that bad. What's more you have a humours title as well.
