Certainly does portray work but, it seems out of focus/blurred as well as a small shot

Nice lighting but the composition and subject matter are a little boring.

This is a good studio shoot and nice pose. I like the yellow colors. The focus could be better (F8+) and the light should come from a top right or left 45 degree to some definition. -6-

Well I tried, it was meant to be nightmarish, but it was all in good fun. I wasn't going to put my models through any danger by giving them a real knife, it was a joke! I'm not good at PS, it was first time I ever used it, this was just a project for school! I didn't expect to get a high score or to win. It was joke and an assignment.

The artificial colorization isn't going to help with your score for this pic. Maybe if it had been made darker, moodier.

uhh...yes, you can have lots of fun changing the hue in PS, but pictures like this rarely do well in competition. Also, can't believe the scenario taking place as both victim and killer are smiling, the knife is a butterknife, and there is no blood/gore on it.

Drop the overacting, get a steak knife and some fake blood and tell your models to get serious and really mean it.

I imagine the edit is supposed to give it a nightmarish look? It worked.
