Big Yawnby PrincessLolaComment by MilesW: I would have liked to see more of the yawn by having the viewpoint much lower and with a bit more depth of field, as it is I can't really tell that it's a really big yawn as alluded to in the image. The nose and snout are nicely sharp with the exposure handled well. |

Big Yawnby PrincessLolaComment by EL-ROI: You captured a great moment here! I really think the shot is somewhat close and shot too much from above. It would have been more effective loking toward the face and seeing te mouth open, rather than looking from above. Though I wasn't fond of the composition, the technical aspects are great... focus is spot on, great dof... awesome color! |

Up Rightby PrincessLolaComment by elemess: love the gritty feel of this and how the tree is trying to poke into the picture, but the stairs turn away from it |

Broken Homeby PrincessLolaComment by KiwiShotz: I love fallen over buildings (see my Off-Centre entry:) I have a feeling this would beeven more appealing in colour but am mindful that you made a concious decision to turn it into a mono image. |

Bluesby PrincessLolaComment by KHolt: nice shape, however, as it isn't really abstract, it doesn't meet the challenge too well for me. In terms of the photograph, it probably could be sharpened up a little. Composition is great, I like the large curve outsetting the sharp lines of the neon. The bottom curve is slightly lost which is a shame. |
