This certainly shows off the raw power that weapons are capable of, wow! |

Aquaracer by Tag Heuer by Covert_OddityComment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
How is this fair? I just critiqued the blue ribbon for this contest earlier. I hardly feel like I'm qualified to critique your picture, but I'll give it a shot. :)
I'll start off with the negatives. There are none haha. Hmmm if there was one thing I'd change though it would be to have the reflection of the watch face showing instead of shining so much light. Actually your way works good to isolate the watch face from the reflection so as to draw the focus to it.
I like the DOF, the water droplets look great in focus and in the back too. I hope you weren't expecting an extremely helpful critique, there's really nothing to improve . You placed third and have a new personal best, congratulations!

On the Rocksby MinsoPhotoComment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
This was one of my highest rated pictures in the Product Shot challenge. I gave you a 9.
This stuff is delicious first of all so I was biased in your favour hehe. Personally I really liked the dark lighting. The tea matches perfectly with the bottle. There's not much I would change about this. You received some helpful comments though. And I have to agree that it would have been nice to have the edge of the cap lighted as well. I'm surprised this didn't score higher though.
Josh you keep replacing your top rated images on your profile, keep up the great work! Love your stuff!

Tabasco- made with peppersby kellmak10Comment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
Why did I end up with your picture!? It was one of my highest rated pictures in the challenge and you won the blue, I'm definitely not worthy! Congratulations by the way and I hope everything worked out with the validation!
This is such a creative picture, I wish I had these kind of ideas. 7.7 score is just amazing, that'll be one hard personal best to beat. Reading through the comments there were a couple things that people picked up that I didn't notice. The tiny bit of black in the very bottom right, the yellow corn on the S and people wanted a whiter background. Those are the only very small things that could be fixed in this picture.
Looking at the votes you got, you only received 6 votes under a 6. Has that ever happened before? Excellent job and hop to see more great entries from you.

With Loveby sekarmalathyComment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
First jewelry shot?? This looks very professional! And you placed 10th with a 6.766 so obviously the other voters also thought that this was great. I like that you included the Swarovski box in it, shows that it is a real product.
The only problem I have with your photo is that it seems a bit cluttered. With the box, bracelet, rocks and water it's just a little too much. And that water that is hook shaped in the top right corner is distracting.
Overall you did a great job, there were a lot of high scoring images in this contest so making it into the top 10 is quite the accomplishment.

Edit of mechanics of timeby hojop25Comment: This one is pretty great too, it's a tough choice between the two. I like the processing on this one more but I'm not sure how I feel about the blur on everything around the watch. |
