My old tv setby amichailComment: ... and your reflection in the screen, and a very busy bg (what's with the paper sack?) The best way to avoid distracting reflections in shiny surfaces it to hold up a large card or hang a sheet, etc.... and make a hole just large enough for camera lens to poke through. |

The Gory End of a Feral Pigeonby benhurComment: This is just gross! There does not seem to be an attempt made to compose the shot, the lighting is poor and the subject is disgusting. Therefore, not an appealing image. |

Out of Orderby crickettComment: I don't understand the pink cast to the foliage. I think this shot would work far better in pure b/w. |

Old Fashioned Wake Up Callby BlinksComment: The light from the window is too bright - over-powering the shot. Also out of focus foreground items is rarely a good idea, it just doesn't work well compositionally. I would suggest a curtain or sheet to difuse the window light and focus the camera on the FG clock - or remove it.

Apple IIeby FlinxComment: The lighting is hot on the right - more even would have made the shot much more pleasing. Also the items reflecting in the screen are distracting, I would have suggested removing those items before shooting. |
