A Toy From the Pastby raptureComment: I remember that game! I think this could have been an excelent image - but... you really need more light on them and the items in the foreground, midground and background are very distracting. A solid bg and clean fg would make a much nicer image. Also, what's with the drink cup? |

Before Discman & Ipod...by CrystalFuryComment: Hmmm where to begin.... I like the idea here - however - execution... The light is far too bright on the surface of the walkman and causes very dark shadows in the fg. Using fill flash, or a 2nd light source would correct that. Also, the wrinkled cloth gives the image a very rough and thrown together feel. And one last thing, if your going to include the headphones in the shot, I think they should be included completely, not having the wire leave and reenter the image. I hope you find this helpful. |

combineby cm0783Comment: This shot looks very washed out and flat due to overexposure. Adjusting contrast could help somewhat, also a less centered composition would be more interesting. |

Effeteby striderx77Comment: The uneven lighting hurts this shot, as does the busy bg. Propping a white card behind your subject would give this image a much cleaner look. |

Fading into the past.by DouglasComment: I really like the idea, and you executed it well, my only nit is the lighting (which is uneven and dark) and the carpet is distracting. |

Cellular Victimby rbennyComment: The composition includes so many distracting elements and the main subject (the phone) looks out of focus. I would suggest simplifying the shot to just the telephone and maybe a little space around it on one side or the other for an off-centered composition. |

remember cutting and pasting?by lakritstrollComment: I understand what you were going for here - but I don't think you hit your mark. The items look scattered, not composed , also fewer items would have helped to draw the eye where you want the viewer to go. |
