Old&Rustyby nickgustoComment: The only problem with B&W is that you can't see if it's rusty... It's a bit of an unusual angle, too, but I like the snow and (ignoring the rust issue) the B&W gives an aged feel which works in this case. Personally, it's not particularly inspiring, but it fit's the challenge well. It could do with being larger though - you're given 640 pixels and really those should be used to get the extra gravitas. 5. |

Wheels of Warby blackjackComment: If I had taken the shot, for personal choice I might have decided to be a little straight on to the subject - in order to get the background wheel within the circumference of the wheel in the foreground. And I'm trying to bite my tongue, but I have to point out that it's wonky. The house in the background, though boring, is in keeping with the period feel of the cannon, so I think it's relevant. I think more focus on the wheels might also have made it more in keeping with the challenge. Still an interesting subject though - 5 (6 if less wonky) |

Steel Wheeled Tractorby CamComment: The use of only greys and browns here is very visually pleasing. The sky is brilliantly complimentary, the angle you have taken the shot original and works veyr well, and the wheels are scary and look really cool. I've only just started voting, but i definitely think this warrants a 10. |

Rustyby eikidigiComment: I very much like the dusky sunlight reflected in your image - makes what would have been a bit of a dull image very interesting and your use of light is a little bit inspiring. 8. |

EMO: Electronically Modified Organismby labudsComment: It's a Mac! With current trends in genetically modified crops, you sadly wonder just how out of place your representation really is. It should be out of place, of course. Technically this is a splendid shot - the colours are excellent (the black background really makes the green show up nicely) and the focus and DOF is imho totally spot on. 9. |

Intersectby JPRComment: Like this one - the black and white I thought works really well. Could make a decent poster even. The only slight personal alteration i might have made was to lower the position of the bike - seems a wee bit high... The bike is so in focus compared to the rest - you must have hands like a rock. You have definitely captured the spirit of the challenge, so 9 it is. |

Ghostby oksamitComment: A bit too Where's Waldo for me - are you referring to the blur at the top right? It's just a bit too incidental to really impact on the picture. I also thought the foreground is a little too cluttery and detracts from the action and could have been cropped from this end of the pier... Actually the water, sky and motionless ship are very photogenic and look pretty good. Tough one to score... |

Carrera GTby HomunculusComment: Is this a model? If so, you're a bloody genius, because I really can't tell - I only became suspicious because there are bugger all of these cars parked around grassy slopes for people to take pictures of... Did you try taking pictures of it after someone gave it a push? Lighting is very stylish, and I think it fits the challenge well enough... 9. |

Children's Windowby rll07Comment: Interesting concept this. If I were in your position I might be tempted to try the same shot without the kid and crop out the cave - the trees, landscaping and sky in the background looks really cool. At the least I'd reduce the amount of cave visible at the top of the shot as it appears a bit wonky. I like the picture, it just feels that there's too many details in it. 6. |

Up, up, and away! by jas0420Comment: Great action shot - could see this being a ribbon contender quite easily (or at least it should be). The bike is particularly photogenic - something about the orange wheels. Anyway, great shot. 10. |
