quite a plain shot... it is clear... it is ok composed but... the subject is kind of lost in the scene with that grass and the white of snow... |

The object is fully centered, which doesn't work for me here. With that title I also would like the see the rust. |

The only problem with B&W is that you can't see if it's rusty... It's a bit of an unusual angle, too, but I like the snow and (ignoring the rust issue) the B&W gives an aged feel which works in this case. Personally, it's not particularly inspiring, but it fit's the challenge well. It could do with being larger though - you're given 640 pixels and really those should be used to get the extra gravitas. 5. |

could use some more sharpening i think (USM). maybe a tad more exposrure (1/3 stop) or more contrast |

Interesting subject, composition seems a bit unimaginative though. Melting snow looks good in b&w. |
