Hand google mapby SistoComment: With great interest I opened your submission. Why with great interest? Because I, too, had entered not one but two entries of palm lines. After all they are indicative (leading) lines are they not?
Alas, I withdrew both before the challenged flipped to the voting mode. The reasons I withdrew both are the same I see in this submission: self-photographed hands do not seem to show well. Both shots I prepared for entry made the mounts of my hands look like hams! I'm sure it was a matter of PoV but it was most unflattering. Secondly, the coloring - even in B&W and/or with Topaz effects applied - the skin looked cadaverous. Then, in my circumstance, the partially desaturated one was too soft. While your image is very sharp, unfortunately, it bears similar defects of my abandoned shots: PoV aberrations and coloring.
As painful as it is to receive a vote of one, it is more painful to assign a vote of one. One is what I am voting on this photo. I hope I have explained sufficiently the reason for this low score and would invite you to contact me after the voting is finished if you wish to plumb my reasoning further. Sorry. |

tearosefineartby jomariComment: Definitely a leading lines but perhaps just a tad too mundane to be striking? Sorry - four. |

the fenceby AbraComment: By focusing on the intricacies of the wiring technique through the first wooden post, you have avoided a trite fence leading line image; yet, that post does not stop the viewer from traveling down the picture. Sharp, colorful with lots of interest. I opened this with the mindset of assigning a seven, but as I worked through my comment I think a nine suites it better. I hope this does well for you. |

Baaby vawendyComment: While I'm not sure about any leading lines, I can't resist the cuteness: five. |

Golden deliciousby P-A-U-LComment: So darn cute!! Maybe there is not strong leading line, but I do like the way twig from the left of the frame points to the petal-eating mouse. Cuteness/framing/sharpness earn an eight from me. |

Drawby MAKComment: From all the thumbnails this one stood out the most for me. The bricks create subtle, but multiple, lines to infinity and encourage the viewer to move through the picture; alas, there stands an interdicting obstruction - a challenger to the viewer's voyage. Perhaps that white vertical line under the model's left ear could have been burned to be less harsh? Still, a solid ten from me. |
