I think this is one of the nicer photos. The color is beautiful. The mood caused from the light and the softness of the pastels in the background is very,very nice. Compostionaly, I think the window frame really hurts this photo. Mainly the top, just having the left side doesn't bother me-only my opinion. But I understand the challenge. Very good photo.

Normally this would have been a boring grayish cityscape. But the right time, right place mixed with a photographer with an eye, creates an image with mood and power. Nice composition on the fly. Like the angles and the sense of force created by the onset of the storm. I do however wish the colors were more vivid and the edges sharper. But understandable shooting through a tented window (I would guess) on the fly.
