Love the transition in the colour of the sky and the slight motion blurring.
Don`t know if the window frame would have been more or less distracting than the reflections.
Nice work..good luck |

Normally this would have been a boring grayish cityscape. But the right time, right place mixed with a photographer with an eye, creates an image with mood and power. Nice composition on the fly. Like the angles and the sense of force created by the onset of the storm. I do however wish the colors were more vivid and the edges sharper. But understandable shooting through a tented window (I would guess) on the fly. |

Out of Liverpool Street heading up towards Hackney, yes? I live in Bow, and think I probably have photos taken at almost exactly the same time - from very nearly the same angle, just a little further away - the placement of the gherkin and the Nat West Tower (as it shall ever be called), are almost exactly the same as the view from my window as I sit here typing ... really quite a creepy effect. I rmember that contrast of yellow/orange and blue light, and that weather front that swept across ... how very very wierd to see this here.
Good shot too - especially love the fact that the only reference to a window is those reflections, and yet it's so clearly taken through a wndow. |

Whereas a lot of these shots seem to be taken from a window for no reason other than that's what the challenge asked for, the window here actually serves a purpose. Mixed with the motion blur, you really get the feeling you are riding in a train, and the lovely pastel tones make this image really work. Great job! |

Very cool image!!! I love this one, except that: There's no window frame. Otherwise it's great. You should clone out the reflections at the top of the shot and sell this one to train enthusiasts. |

What a wonderful sunset. Although this is a "window" contest" .. I sure hope you were able to shoot the real scene. Well done! |
