59th st. bridgeby pchudnoComment: It was a dark and stormy looking photograph, and there's something (maybe from the lighting) in the left third/quad that looks like a heavy line running all the way from the sky to the water. |

Return to Middle Ageby bcncrazyComment: The first thing I really saw was the 'face' of the tower - two upper windows (eyes), center (nose) and gate (mouth). Very nice capture - I hope you specified the location in your details. It looks like one of the walled cities in Germany I saw last summer. |

Backwoods Bridgeby kerrywcComment: A suspension bridge in the woods - what a rare find. I like this panoramic shot, but it's a bit dark/over-sepiaed to my eye. |

Extending Over the Severn Estuaryby KonadorComment: Taking a shot of a bridge from underneath that same bridge - not something that can usually be done easily. The view and framing are good, but the suspension span seems a bit either OOF or washed out, I can't really tell which. |

Night Traffic on the John A. Roebling Bridgeby RLSComment: A time-exposure shot - I think that's the only one I've seen in this challenge. This is done quite well - the only motion visible in the shot is the vehicle's trailing taillights. |

Doyle Rd. Bridgeby STEINRComment: You're fortunate to have such a bridge available to you to photograph. I like the color contrast and pretty much everything about this photo. I also like those signs on the side of the bridge showing the 11'5" height in an area where there really shouldn't be any vehicles in the first place. |

Concrete Cathedralsby decoteauComment: Your title provides a new way to think about the arches in bridge trestles, and I think creating a new viewpoint is a very good thing to do. I like the repeating effect created by your through-shot - i wonder if that part (not the bridge overall) could be a bit more centered - the second trestle looks off by the smallest amount. |

Mother and Child crossing Drawbridgeby AzrifelComment: This is one of those unique bridge shots that can really only be taken in a few areas. I like the background, and I like the ripple detail in the water. The people, however, are a bit dark and blend into the builiding directly behind them. |

CHILD'S PLAYby louie cComment: Cute. Just cute. Nice detail level, and the train going over the top adds a nice touch of action and color. |
