Color a little flat, could have used a fill flash either to accentuate the shadow on the face or eliminate it. I would have prefered the former.

Not a good use of DOF. With the paper it is great but to me even the pencil lead is soft. What were you using a macro @ f1.4?

I really like this picture. Normally distracting foreground is a neg. but in this case you used the tree and shadow it cast to frame your subject. It is like a picture within a picture.
