Eye of Equusby GalimagesComment: A very beautiful image. Lovely tones and excellent detail. Looks like there's a black line on the right side of the frame. Could have happened during cropping / working on a border - but you would know better about that. Well done. |

Lunch timeby tomlewis1980Comment: Brillaint composition. Great detail. Background looks a bit unclean, I am not sure if it's from the camera or the flower. But I don't see that as a fault. I love this image. |

A Little Rustyby BassieComment: Excellent shot with very well balanced lovely colours and superb detail. I also love the DOF. The only thing I am a bit uneasy about is the format of this image. It does look a bit like a forced composition. But I love this image. Well done. |

The Celloby silverleafComment: Good focus and composition. There's a nice flow to this image. The reflections on the cello are not easy on the eye and they destroy this image. This would have been a beautiful image if the lights were better controlled. I suggest using diffusers and reflectors. It would soften the overall lights falling on the subject and will reduce the harsh highlights. Also the way it is now, it would be worth trying some desaturation on this shot. Try decreasing saturation on red, blue and magenta (maybe some yellow too).
Anyway, I am suggesting all this because I do see potential in this shot and I do think that you can achieve much better results from the same composition.
Good luck. |
