Digitalis purpurea (Scrophulariaceae)by FalcComment: Wonderful use of DOF--for the foxglove and the background! I do wish that the plant to the left of the foxglove and which occupies the majority of the frame was either not there or stood out from the background more. That would really do it. |

Purple Puffby stormyComment: Quite captivating. I'd like to see a bit more umph to the foreground, however. Perhaps a bit more light/contrast or sharpness directed there...but that might be against the contest rules? |

from another galaxy?by nordicComment: Thebubbles are enchanting but I find them floating a bit too much--compositionally-speaking. I would have cropped it a bit tighter, to fill the frame, then the focus would be on the reflection within the bubbles. |
