Picture Discby drz01Comment: I could not think of anything to shoot for this that challenge would stand from the rest then I saw yours...good job. Nice angle including the turn table although it appers to be a newer model I won't mark ya down since the record is what counts. Some light dust on the turn table but I like the lighting and set up.
(Wonder if the artist minded where they put the hole for the center of the turn table lol seems appropriate.) |

Get Down Tonightby punkskittlesComment: Totally 70's with the background and all, sharpness on the lamp seems soft but when shooting through the glass I'm sure that isn't easy to accomplish |

{Flower Power}by litboltiComment: I understand the title but not quite sure how it fits the challenge. I was young in the 70s so maybe I missed something with the bowls of colored water. The lighting seems a little harsh and you've lost detail in the flowers stem and leaves. |

The creationby JinjitComment: very nice effect...I think I would have liked it a little more on the word divided but you get the idea in it. Very pleasant to look and and moves your eyes around the image. |

Rural Routeby bbutlerComment: Beautiful, I hope you clone out that power line and pole when the challenge is over and hang this baby up. Very nice feel and moves the eyes nicely around the scene. Good luck |

Cousinsby RigoletoComment: I would suggest a shot of them together maybe sitting with very good light so you don't have to worry about a flash. Since your beginning a studio is probably not available but those lights would help a lot with their fur color and with the cameras inability to focus sharply on them. It would also get rid of the cluttered background. You could hang a light colored sheet over the edge of the table for a backdrop and open windows and turn on lights.
Keep trying, you'll get it. |
