Sarasota Bayfrontby Mark of SRQComment: I think it's a good shot. Given the amount of great sunsets there, I'd say the sunset itself isn't too spectacular but the fisherman is a good addition to the foreground for some interest. I'd keep shooting anyway because you're bound to nail some other great sunsets.
Are you going to do any nature shots from Myakka? Has it recovered from the flood? My mother used to live right near the park, and moved to KY a couple months before the flood and we were told her former house was completely underwater. |

IMG_4427 sepia copy 800.jpgby ButterflySisComment: Beautiful, beautiful tonality. You really did a great job creating a dreamy mood for this picture. Wonderful. This looks like a fine-art postcard that people would send from their vacation to the Cape. |

A Mother's Love IIby RHoldenSrComment: Much nicer than the original shot in my opinion. The colors are more natural now and the crop is more flattering to the photo. |

Looking Forwardby KylieComment: Wow, what great colors! With that afternoon sun it's hard to tell if this is an old, rusted train out of service or just really strong sunset light. I love the way you framed this and kept the whole shot in focus. Nice! |

A Mother's Loveby RHoldenSrComment: I think you salvaged this one pretty well. A better angle would help to give a better view of the cub, but given the subjects you had to work with that's asking a lot.
Beautiful animal shot. The only thing that works against you is their camouflage which blends them both together. |

Pink Tulips at Sunriseby joannsComment: This is really gorgeous...great color without being over-saturated and very soft, beautiful light. The only thing that bugs me ever so slightly is how centered that one large tulip is. Wonderful photo. |

shaylaPICT0096.jpgby joannsComment: This is really a great photo. Yeah, maybe some people wouldn't want it on their wall, or if you did this as a commercial job, the parent might freak out a bit, but artistically it's fantastic.
While it does have some elements of "creepy" to it, so what? Why should all photos of kids be filled with smiles and balloons and happy faces? THIS is the photo this girl will probably love to death when she gets older. ( Assuming she isn't in prison for eating human brains that is).
GREAT photo! |

Not To Be So Depressive by sahkoComment: I like your choice of background and color cast to create the "depressed" feeling in your photo. Very nice. |

13by TranquilComment: A very nice pose by your model, and the soft, warm light looks great on her. The light through her hair is particularly flattering. |
