pierby Ecce_SignumComment: Pinholes are so beautiful, nostalgic, imprecise, mysterious, magical, expressive, bewitching. I love them, Looking at them and making them. Thank you. |

untitledby instepsComment: Crikey, I'm sick. I instantly saw the hydrant as an implied expression of admiration. Now I'm trying to not do so. Thank you. |

- - - -by krnodilComment: The biggest challenge in this challenge is dealing with the cats. I don't mind cats but for reasons unknown, I wince at pictures of them. Not this one though, because it's a pure expression of catness. Tones, inky blackness, ambiguous light and slinky grain. All the elements necessary to convincingly assemble some cats. Thank you. |

View from the Looby jomariComment: Pleasing. Sort of mesmerising and slightly spiritual. Just the thing for the location: contemplative. Thank you. |

Land That Time Forgotby streetpigeonComment: This is the thing that keeps me fascinated with photographs. A good photograph, a considered photograph, can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. Every object in this photograph, every tone and texture, every shape, every relationship between all of those elements and dimensions, is thoughtful and good. One of the most effortlessly ambitious and successful squares so far. Thank you. |

Untitledby aznymComment: Originally posted by posthumous: wow, the broken concrete transforms into a painting of flowers.

and this man contemplates passing through the gate to heaven.
everything is going to be different now. |
It's daunting to attempt an adequate comment after that. I think I'd have eventually thought those thoughts. I can say that now, of course: who wouldn't? Thank you, both Don & Az. |

Biofuel?by GeneralEComment: I thought it was a seal from the thumb. Not the kind in the ocean. The wax-sealing kind. Now that it's not, I see a little jewel, like a snow globe, or a Fabergé egg. It makes a square frame obligatory, as in a presentation case or box. Thank you. |

Summer Leagueby GermaineComment: I'm actually a bit colourblind (it's quite true). Now and then it's a blessing. This can't be one of those occasions though, can it? Because if it was I wouldn't know to say so. Of course. Thank you. |
