Try to anticipate the peak of action or gesture; this is a nondescript moment that anyone could have captured.

You took advantage of a great opportunity but there is no clear subject... the women's poses are interesting on their own without the background, i.e. crop out the unnecessary elements

Nice grab... would rather see more ahead than behind because of the downward angle

This is simple, simple = good. Watch your crop; mid-forearm is awkward... a shot like this without an interesting background needs depth and/or scale, i.e. need more background/environment. At the very least, if the sky were richer/darker/more saturated (hint: polarizing filter) it would add drama

Move so you don't have a truck behind your subject. Also, it's more flattering to women if they turn their head towards the camera rather than looking straight ahead, so moving to the side has a double advantage.

Any tourist can get this shot, so at the very least wait for a more interesting background, or focus on a specific element (e.g. hand under rifle in front of gate or door) or get an angle no one else is getting (e.g. from behind the guard). Also, when capturing people walking take several exposures to ensure you don't get an awkward foot position like this one.

Nice family moment. Get directly in front or at least show full length; don't crop mid-thigh... need less depth of field or less distracting background--mom has antlers. :)
