This is really interesting and stark. The colors are almost scary, but it may be a little over the top. How did you get all this with basic editing? Please give some details when the challenge is over because this is a very interesting photo. It looks pointillistic and almost 3D. The effect is very compelling. Not sure, however, how it relates to the "Closing" theme.

Interesting shot. Nice colors. Your lighting (sun?) appears to have been so bright you lost your shadow detail, though. Also, this looks a bit too sharpened, IMHO.
