Not sure why, this image just didn't spark any relationships with darkness other than it is a mostly black image. Is it possible I need to know something about Star Wars to get the reference? If it is I am sorry - I have never see any Star Wars movies.

I wasn't sure what to make of this image. I looked at it a few times befoer voting. Perhaps I missed something or you need some sort of knowledge about somethig to get the relvance of this. But I just felt it was not appropriate for the challenge. I have been unable to make a relationship between Darkness and this image other than it is mostly black.

I first looked at this and thought it was way over-processed. However, on subsequent views it began to stir the kind of reaction you might expect from an image like this in a challenge such as Darkness. Now I look at it and it just plain creeps me out! Well done! Top of my voting on this one!
