This a good composition and you did a great job with selective focus to draw attention to the wheel. Photo might have benefitted from a background such as a parking lot instead of a house to reinforce the 'skater' implications. The exposure is good and lends to the grittiness. An added element such as a body laying in the background would have also added interest.

Sure glad I didn't travel to the desert to take a shot of a tortoise. I would have been really embarassed! Nice composition and color.

nice scenery! perhaps a tighter shot of the area from the centered tree to the left just past the barn would have drawn more interest. Or perhaps from the smaller tree to the right side of the photo to include the curve?

Good use of B&W to isolate the subject. The association between office products and upside down crosses leaves me a little confused though. the hearsh lighting on the paper to the right is a bit distracting when trying to focus on the cross.

So the key to winning a challenge is shoot all photos when you get home from the bar? JK, great take on the challenge!

I like the contrast and the one upside-down helmet. The only suggestion I have is maybe to move right and run the subjects in a line from lower left to upper right. All in all it's a nice shot.

This is my favorite "spoon" shot! Good isolation of subject and minimal color.
