Wow - I certainly wasn't expecting a ribbon, much less a blue one! Thank you very much to everyone who voted and especially everyone who commented! So a little about the image - I've been playing around with op art style images off and on for a while now and when challenge subject of books came up, this concept popped into my head almost immediately. A quick search and then a wait for the library system to ship the book to my local branch and I was ready to shoot. For those wondering, the book is Introducing Op Art by John Lancaster. As for the suit - it's called a zentai suit and can be found in a number of places in the wonderful world that is the Internet. I've found them particularly inspiring and visually cool for photographic work (not to mention they're comfy! :) ). I like where you're going here, but the image is just a bit on the busy side for me - although in some ways I guess that goes along with the story - hmmmm, conflicted....

Nicely done overall, although I think that the harsh light on the back cover of the book brings the image down - I find that my eye is drawn there first, as it's the brightest part of the image.

Sometime a book really grabs your attention, eh? :) I really like this except for the bit of torn page - I think that it would have worked better either with that gone and a seamless hole, or else the other way with a really ragged hole, such that the arm exploded out of the book.
