Sometime a book really grabs your attention, eh? :) I really like this except for the bit of torn page - I think that it would have worked better either with that gone and a seamless hole, or else the other way with a really ragged hole, such that the arm exploded out of the book. |

Creative, thought the angle makes it clear this is the subject's own arm. It actually took me a few moments to realize it was supposed to be coming out of the book, so the illusion did not hold for me. If you'd had a second person to provide the arm coming from an odd angle, that would have been very cool. Still worth a vote on the higher end of the scale, in spite of my nitpick. |

What book is this? I definitely don't want to pick it up while I'm home alone! |

Fun idea! lighting perhaps a little harsh left to right but doesn't detract too much for me :) |

Don't you just love it when a book grabs you ? Great originality! |

Took me a minute to "see" the effect. I think the one scrap that is left looks like a mistake. It might have read better (no pun intended) if it looked like the hand had "torn" through the book instead of it being so neatly cut out. |

Neat idea having the book suck you in. I kind of wish there was more page tearing near where the arm is coming through the book. |

Nice idea!. Even though I would not have been cleaver enough myself to think of doing this - things I may have done differently would have been to change the appearance of the hand enough to differentiate it from the face by painting it. I would have left the last few pages of the book and puched through it to emphasize the break-out. I love the lighting and B&W choice. 7 from me. |

Hahaha. Should have named this "Thing." (from Addams Family.) A bit sloppy on the cutout pages showing. |
