WOW, great contrast in color here. One thing that takes away from this shot however is the dead leaf (?) in the right side. I'm missing the "capture the action" with this as well but overall I give ya a 6.

Good clean photo, I like the motion blur on the ball controller. I like how you captured the action of the sport. However, I feel the shot would have been more powerful if you would have captured the player̢۪s entire bodies battling for position of the ball.

Thanks for all the great comments and feed back. I know there were a number of fireworks shot in this challenge and I feel that it hurt my chances for a better score. Overall I'm happy with the outcome seeing this is only the second time I've entered any type of photo contest! It was still a lot of fun to shoot and I̢۪m looking forward to the next challenge!
