the raw nature of the picture captures the spunk of "garage rock". I like it. Among the most lively of the entries. The clutter both helps and hurts the pic (or I just can't decide). 8.

I like it, although it's fairly simple. Among the best of the "closeup" shots I see.

the total androgynous nature of the performer (I still can't figure if it's a guy in gal's clothing) and the giant eye make this one. A little cluttered, but there isn't much you could do about that, is there? 8.

background is nice. Both subtle but yet not black. The contrast might be a little overdone on the performer, but it isn't too bad. 8.

That Tori, she's such a freak. I'm not sure where she learned to keep her legs open while playing the piano, but she does that everywhere. Good capture though. Maybe bring the piano out just a little more from the background as it helps define the performer (meaning we associate Tori with a piano).

Man, can you believe his last name is actually McBagpipe? Seriously though, this my favorite of the "parade" genre. The focus isolates the subject, but the background is still discernible enough for context. 7.

I like the selective color desaturation, although it makes the bearded guy at the end look a bit funny. 7.
