I like the fullness of the flowers. For me, if there had been a greater contrast with the shadows and highlights to make the flowers "pop" more, I would have scored it higher.

On one hand I like the extreme darkness, and on the other hand it's a bit too much. For me, it's the area around the main mushroom top. If I could see more of an edge and not have it... "disappear" into the blurred background I don't think the heavy black would bother me. I do like the composition and lighting. Nicely done.

I bet you're going to get quite a few interesting comments on your take for this challenge. As for me personally, it made me laugh - in part because I agree. As for the image, it's good, clean and crisp. Looks like it belongs on a post card or in a brochure for the tourists. Points for tongue-n-cheek humor.
